Retrieving Electronic Invoices in Marmin

In the UAE e-Invoicing ecosystem, the retrieval of invoices is a critical component of your audit trail and operational workflow. Because your invoices are generated as structured XML files, retrieval is designed to ensure the integrity and accessibility of tax data.

Once an Electronic Invoice has been successfully exchanged and reported, it is stored within the Marmin platform. You can access these records for internal accounting, tax reporting, or audit purposes.

Retrieval Methods

  • Search and Filter: You can search for specific invoices using the invoice number, UUID, date range, or customer/supplier details.

  • Document Status: Filter by status (for example, Validated, Reported, or Failed) to quickly identify which invoices were successfully processed through your ASP and reported to the FTA.

  • Download Options: While the system processes data in XML format, you can typically generate a human-readable version of the invoice within the web application for day-to-day administrative use.

  • Audit Retrieval: For formal tax audits, ensure you have the capability to export the complete records, including the original XML, as they contain the full evidentiary value of the transaction.
